Meet The Taste Experts
As a child growing up in Jamaica, little Denton spent most of his days in the kitchen of his family’s home in Waterhouse, Kingston on the outskirts of Spanish Town, Jamaica. Like his Uncle, who runs a restaurant in his hometown, Denton grew up in the kitchen and was always interested in cooking. While going to primary school back in Jamaica he would start out by cooking for his primary school sports teams. Denton baked his first cake at 8 years old for his mom and has been creating wonderfully delicious confectioneries and treats in the kitchen ever since.
Artistic, creative, and possessed with a love for all things Jamaican, Denton has dedicated his life to promoting Jamaica’s cuisine and hospitality and spends each day thinking of new ways to bring his beloved childhood flavors to life.
